Aaron ... albeit a Sex Hero

Year: 2009
Country: USA
Director: Paul Bright
Starring: Christopher Lee Gibson, Mary Farrar, Matthew Burnett, Rafiel Soto, Tim Brough
Synopsis: A gay man stuck in a miserable job agrees to do it once more, for the last time. What he doesn't know is he's about to get stuck in the middle of a drug deal gone bad with the hot new driver of his tour bus.
Quick review: Aaron is a gay man looking for a new career. He was forced from teaching because a student tried to blackmail him for a better grade and the administration believed the boy. Since then, he's being the tour guide for Texas Tinseltown Tours, where old ladies dress up as famous actresses and visit some of the places where Hollywood Westerns were filmed. Aaron's only hope of escape is a job offer in Hawaii on a cruise ship, but to get it he needs a letter of recommendation from his boss. So one last tour he must complete. Jesse is the new driver of the bus, and he's all dark and mysterious and Aaron's attempts at flirting go no where. Luckily, the audience avoids the tour as the van heads for its overnight stop at a dude ranch. There, in the middle of the night, Aaron stumbles in a drug deal and it may cost him his life. Soon he and Jesse are running from the bad guys, and when they have a few seconds, making out. There are tarantulas, snakes, guns, etc. Oh, and the two leads are pretty cute and there is a full frontal nude scene. The film is entertaining enough, but at times it gets a little ridiculous. For example, moments after being bitten by a scorpion, all Aaron wants to do is make out with Jesse. And don't even get me started on the climax, which asks that you suspend all your disbelief and then some. If you don't mind that, it's a fun enough distraction.
