Synopsis:

Quick review:
This is a very good film. Seems like there are fewer lesbian movies, but they make up for the lack of quantity with more quality. I'd happy trade in hundreds of bad gay films for more quality lesbian films like this one. Greg and Molly are both new to New York and to living together. They are both worried about the change in their lives, but still in love and thinking about marriage and the dream life. Bridget and her best pal Trip live together, both talking about the women that they chase. For Trip it's a bit more complicated, because he has a steady girlfriend. The foursome meet in a bar called The Four-Faced Liar and hit it off, becoming friends. But it is soon obvious that Bridget is interested in Molly. The film manages to avoid being cheap, allowing these fleshed-out characters to behave naturally. As such, the complications of real people and relationships are explored and no one really has an idea where it might end up. But that is like life, and that is what makes this film stand above the rest.
