Synopsis: Former porn star Dylan Vox plays an ex-con who is determined to get a part in a hit television series and become a star, and he doesn't care how man gay couples he has to break up to do so.
Quick review: Boyd is about to be released from prison and knows the exact moment his life went wrong. He was cast to be the lead in a new television series, playing a slightly chubby and very nerdy character. But at the last second, after they had filmed the pilot, the network decided they wanted someone else as the lead. Instead of nerdy, they went hunky. Boyd was tossed aside and the the new star and the series became runaway hits. Now that's he is out of prison and he's now hot, he is determined to be a star and wants the two producers who had cast him originally to help. They are a gay couple, Derek and Collin. When he shows up, he's mistaken for the cousin of a friend, and moves in as Sean. Through a series of misadventures, he's passed from one house to another, each with a gay couple. To get back to Derek and Collin's house, he decides to create trouble by seducing one of the partners and letting the other have a fit of jealousy. The film is fun, if in predictable ways. There are some huge logic gaps. For one, Boyd/Sean shows no interest in sex with anyone (male or female) and says he's not gay. He only has sex if it furthers his ambition to being a star. But at the moment when he has what he wants, he has sex with a man. And it's not the hot guy his own age who has been chasing him, but an older guy he barely knows. Maybe that is Boyd's type, but there was no indication of that before he jumped into bed. This is a campy film and would be fun for a group of friends to watch.
