Quick review:
Peter is a successful and straight businessman, or so the world believes. Peter is too afraid to act on his gay impulses, but a chance meeting on the street with Nassim brings him out of his shell. Soon the two have begun an intense affair that threatens to destroy Peter's life. He loses his wife. He loses his friends. He loses his family, and with that the job he had inherited. He has given up everything to be with Nassim. The problem is Nassim is a free spirit and this is not his first gay relationship. He's soon feeling suffocated by Peter's affection and longs to break free. The two separate for a spell to get their bearings. And it is during this separation, just after Nassim has asked Peter to meet him at Keiller's Park, that Nassim's is murdered. As police investigate the history of the relationship, they become convinced that Peter is guilty. The audience is not quite as quick to convict. It seems hard to believe that the Peter we first meet in the early stages of the relationship could do it. But, as we watch the relationship self-destruct through the flashbacks, it becomes easy to see that Peter just may have done it. There are some strong emotions hidden in this suspense film that speak to the true nature of love and how quickly that passion can turn to something else.
