Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds

Year: 2006
Country: USA
Director: Phillip Bartel
Starring: Jim Verraros, Emily Brooke Hands, Rebekah Kochan, Marco Dapper, Brett Chukerman, Mink Stole, Scott Vickaryous
Synopsis: In this sequel, all is not well for Kyle and Marc, the gay couple who got together at the end of the first film. It may take a hot nude model to fix their relationship.
Quick review: It's hard to recognize this film as a sequel. The two lead hotties, um, actors from the original are gone. One of their characters is recast with a new hottie. Kyle, who was a sidekick in the original, now becomes the central character. Gwen, who was the straight girl in love with gay men is back as well. But it still has the same feel. Kyle and Marc are splitting up, mainly because Marc is way too hot for Kyle. Gwen also ends her relationship because her boyfriend just won't play along at being gay. Kyle and Gwen meet Troy, a very hot nude model from their art class. It seems Troy is having trouble with his sexual identification. He is considering going to an ex-gay group. Gwen, trying to help her friend Kyle rebound from the breakup with Marc, suggests that Kyle is the poster boy for the group and Troy can learn a lot from him. It's a good excuse to get close to a hottie, so Kyle plays along, which of course makes Marc very jealous when he sees them together. It's all really silly, just like the original. And then there is the full frontal nudity. And it's the really cute guys who get naked. This is one of those guilty pleasures for people who enjoy their comedy over the top, with a good heaping of nudity thrown in. As long as you don't ask more of it than that, you'll enjoy watching it. But if you can't handle silly, stereotypical characters and some crude moments, skip it.
