Beautiful Mystery

Synopsis: A young man joins a right-wing cult where the boys dedicate their lives to improving their bodies by day, and their same-sex love making by night. That's great, but now the leader wants to commit suicide.
Quick review: This is one of the Pink Films of Japan, which were very homoerotic in nature. It has very little going for it other than a number of Asian young men getting it on. It would probably be rated NC-17 here in the States. It's certainly not pornography, but it's probably a little more than you see in most films. There is also one scene of rape. A Japanese teen watches a group of young men working out and getting all hot and sweaty and decides he wants some of that. Stand in line, sister. He goes up and volunteers to join this group of bodybuilders and paramilitary nuts. The group's leader longs for the days when the Emporer ran the nation, and nearly the world. He is dedicated to bringing that day back and is training this small army to help him. And if they can't bring that back, then he will die trying. The young teen is paired with an older boy to show him their ways. Which means, sex, and lots of it. The whole group gets it on with one another every night. But, you have to ask permission of the assigned mentor to screw his charge. It's definitely soft-core, but lots of skin is showed. Finally, the leader decides he can't take another day of living in a democracy. He plans a suicide mission, and after if fails, he will take his own life in the traditional manner. This is low budget and silly. But, throw in some young naked bodies and even silly can be entertaining.
