Quick review:
This was a made-for-TV film in France, but they left in the more controversial scenes on the DVD version. Dan and Laurent are the best of friends. Dan is straight and a player, never staying with one woman more the 12 days. Laurent is in love with his best friend and roommate. He accepts they'll never have a physical relationship, but as long as he's the only one Dan can rely on emotionally, he's happy. He'll just get his sex somewhere else, knowing full well that Dan will always be chasing women. Enter Camile, the new love of Dan's life. Laurent grows more desperate as it appears this one might stick around a while. It's not long before Dan is moving in with Camile and there's talk of marriage. What's a gay boy to do? Well, he doesn't get over it and go out and find himself a nice boy. He does his best to sabotage Dan's relationship. You have to wait a good long time through the movie before you even get a hint there might be a second wedding, like the title foreshadows. When it comes, it comes out of nowhere. There were no hints of romantic feelings by either man toward the other throughout the movie. It appears they just decided they need to give Laurent a happy ending and threw it in at the last second. For a comedy, I found this too serious. And lacking in humor.
