Boyfriends

Synopsis: Six gay men head off for a weekend retreat into the country, but all six bring enough extra baggage with them to have plenty of drama.
Quick review: Three gay couples go on holiday together. Well, you just know there's going to be plenty of drama with that kind of set up. The first couple (Paul & Ben) have been together for years, and they're starting to drift apart. The second couple (Matt & Owen) have only been together for three months, and are just now starting to talk about moving in together. The third couple isn't really a couple. Will is the typical lonely gay man, who is almost never in a relationship. He brings his latest trick, hoping for love. But Adam, his one-night stand, has other ideas in mind when he gets a look at the other gay men on this little adventure. With that premise you should be able to write the movie yourself. It tries hard to shock you with some twists and turns, but only those new to gay movies won't see them coming. Still, it's mildly amusing.
