Quick review: This tender story of brotherly love takes on the issue of loss and letting go. Leo is the oldest of four brothers and gay. His youngest brother, Marcel, is only 11 and doesn't know about that part of Leo's life. When Leo learns he is not only HIV positive, but has AIDS, it causes a family crisis, but one the rest of the members of the family try to keep from Marcel. Leo decides he doesn't want to spend what he considers his final days with his family watching him die, so he's up for a road trip. He decides to take Marcel with him and make a connection that will last a lifetime. The connection between the brothers drives this film and keeps it from falling to just another AIDS movie. There are times you won't care too much for Leo. He treats his ex shamefully and his lack of fight is maddening. But the film touches on enough emotions to make it stand out.
