Quick review: Some bad movies you can watch just for the car crash effect, you know, it's so bad you can't turn away. This isn't one of them. I started watching it after work one Friday, and was nodding off to sleep 30 minutes into it. OK, maybe I was tired. So, I got a good night's sleep and tried again the next morning. I didn't nod off to sleep, but I took a nap when the movie was over. Zzzzzzz. The movie has no plot. I don't know what it's trying to accomplish and I didn't understand what the director wanted from me. Dorothee is a journalist in Germany. She's in love with her half-brother, I think, but he may just be a fantasy. I couldn't tell. She has a boyfriend, I think, who she can't stand. She decides to get away from him by going to San Francisco and searching for her mother. When that becomes too hard, she abandons it to pursue lesbian relationships. How she went from heterosexual to homosexual with one trip over the Atlantic is never made clear. It's not a traditional bad movie, but I found it to be an incoherent plot that couldn't hold my attention.
