Matter of Taste, A

Synopsis: A rich businessman becomes obsessed with a young waiter and hires him to be his food taster.
Quick review: A food taster? Actually, Nicholas is hired to taste more than food, but life as well. Frederic asks him to do the things he won't do and tell him about it so he can experience it while not risking the actual emotions of the experience. The gay angle is never fully explored, but it's always just under the surface. There's a clear connection between the two men, which even food taster's girlfriend recognizes. There's a lot of psychology taking place and it leads to an ending that seemed pre-destined.
